The Restorative Justice Initiative holds the potential to offer solace and healing to survivors of the Holmesburg Prison Experiments, their families and the community of Philadelphia by providing a platform for acknowledgment, apology, and restitution. Through facilitated dialogue and reparative actions, survivors can find validation for their experiences and a sense of closure. Additionally, the initiative can compel profiteers to confront the consequences of past unethical actions of their predecessors, fostering accountability and potentially deterring similar abuses in the future. Overall, the initiative aims to restore dignity to survivors, bring comfort to families, and promote ethical responsibility among those who profited from the exploitation.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and fund our mission.
